iPad
APPLE said sales of the iPad have topped the 2 million mark less than two months since the tablet computer was introduced.
The hot-selling device first went on sale in the US on April 3 and Apple has upped production to try to match demand.
The technology giant began selling the iPad last weekend in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and Britain.
By July, Apple said the iPad will become available in nine more countries -- Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore.
Developers have produced more than 5000 applications for the iPad and the tablet will run almost all the 200,000 applications in the company's online store, Apple said.
